Chaaaaarleston!
What’s up! For the past 3 days of the tour I had been on the hunt for a VCR. Yes, A VCR. I have exciting things in store for the video portion of this tour and a VCR is just one part of my plan. Unfortunately Wal-Mart doesn’t sell VCRs anymore. Basically nobody does. So I woke up and just started walking down the main drag in Charleston. The first place I stopped at called “Honest John’s” seemed like a really good prospect. Lots of old VHS tapes, cassettes, dust, etc… but no VCR. So, I kept on walking, and walking, and walking… until I came to a run down, tired, looking building that had neon signs in the window advertising “Guitars, TVs, and Jewelry” this place looked promising… I stepped outside of the intense Charlotte heat and was transported into a world of golden A/C blasting me from all directions. ”Do you guys sell VCRs?” I said… Their response “Yes”. Thank God. The hunt was over. Unfortunately the VCR fiasco didn’t end there. It took me about 5 more hours and 3 trips back to the pawn shop to finally figure out how to work it. I felt like a 60 yr old man learning how to use a computer for the first time. Haha.
The photobooth went amazing at this show and we had a really overwhelming response! Hopefully it stays this, please come visit us and get your picture taken at the next show! Again the crowd response to Mat’s music was one of the best ever. Thanks for being amazing fans and keep up the great support. We can’t wait to see you at the next show!
